What is a Broadband Multimedia

Broadband multimedia course is to develop and use your imagination to create designs using visual media and to make a career in web and/or multimedia allowing you to be creative, communicate with a wide range of people and work in a variety of exciting industries.

Work in two-dimensional (2D) design (brochures and posters), or in three-dimensional (3D) design (graphics for television and websites); and Design magazines, newspapers and CD-ROM and multimedia materials.

Scope

Multimedia developers use the skills of computer programmers and graphic designers to integrate graphics, text and digital audio and video into a specific computer program. These programs are used in producing computer-based training materials, CD-ROMs, information kiosks, multimedia presentations and entertainment/entertainment products.

Broadband Multimedia is a mix of both the arts and technology, requiring both a sense of ascetic style and a skill-set in the latest software tools.
